Sub-2s load time
WooCommerce-ready
SEO & Core Web Vitals optimised
No page-builder bloat

WordPress website development, done properly, means a custom theme built for your business rather than a purchased template bent into shape. We build WordPress sites for companies selling to customers abroad — clean code, sub-2-second load times, and an admin your team can actually use.
Starting at $700, with a fixed quote before any work begins.
Who this WordPress website development service is for
This suits businesses that need a site they control, that loads quickly, and that will still be maintainable in three years. Most of our clients come to us in one of three situations.
- You have no site yet and need a credible one before approaching customers, partners or a payment processor.
- You have a template site that has become slow and hard to edit, and every change now needs a developer.
- You are moving off Wix or Squarespace and need the content and search rankings carried across intact.
What is included in a WordPress build
Every build is a custom theme. We do not start from a purchased template, because a template built to satisfy thousands of different businesses carries the weight of features none of them use.
- A custom theme with a child-theme architecture, so updates never overwrite your work.
- Custom Gutenberg blocks for each content pattern your site needs.
- WooCommerce integration where you are selling directly.
- Security hardening and a firewall configuration.
- Performance work targeting sub-2-second loads: image optimisation, caching and query tuning.
- Multi-language support through WPML where you sell into more than one market.
- One month of post-launch support.
The process, and how long each stage takes
Three to five weeks end to end for a typical site. The stages below run in order, and each one finishes with something you approve before the next begins, so there are no surprises at the end.
If this is a rebuild rather than a new site, the audit stage comes first and adds a few days. It is worth it: rebuilding without knowing which pages carry your existing search traffic is how a redesign loses rankings.
Problems this solves
Most of the WordPress sites we are asked to fix share a small number of faults, and they compound.
- Page-builder bloat: a homepage shipping several hundred kilobytes of CSS and JavaScript for a layout that needed a fraction of it.
- Plugin sprawl: twenty plugins where four would do, each one a maintenance and security liability.
- No staging environment, so every change is made live and every mistake is public.
- Images uploaded at full camera resolution and scaled down in the browser, which is the single most common cause of a slow WordPress site.
- A theme bought years ago whose author has stopped updating it, leaving known vulnerabilities unpatched.

Our published case studies are advertising results rather than build projects, so they are not evidence of website work and we will not present them as such. TODO(kelhos): send me two or three WordPress builds you are happy to name — the client, what was built, and any before/after load time or traffic figure you can stand behind — and I will add them here with the numbers.
